   简介

   五岭逶迤腾细浪，乌蒙磅礴走泥丸。当你登临海拔4017.3米的乌蒙山主峰牯牛寨时，滇中四五百里皆见日的壮观景象便会尽收眼底，举目远眺，群山云台，层峦叠嶂。山中有山，峰外有峰，山山相连，峰峰相见，使你仿佛置身于仙境，让你深感乌蒙之磅礴。这里就是：云南会泽。
   会泽县位于滇东高原北部，乌蒙山主峰地段，地处滇东高原和黔西高原的结合部，因境内金沙江、小江、牛栏江、以礼河四水交汇而得名。全县东西横距85.4公里，南北纵距137.5公里，国土面积5854平方公里。地势西高东低，南北起伏，呈阶梯状递降，最高海拔4017.3米，最低海拔695米。得天独厚的地理条件，造就了海拔818米、2118—2800米和3070—3500米3个训练点，为运动员进行高高交叉、高低交叉、高住低练、低住高练的高原训练提供了难能可贵的训练条件。
  会泽县城海拔2118米，具有运动员进行高原训练海拔高度,会泽县委、县政府2002年规划征用了210亩土地，拟建体育运动中心，中心主体建筑包括体育馆、游泳馆，综合训练馆、体育场。现在2.1万个座位的体育场已投入使用，内设有400米塑胶跑道、力量训练房、18个标间客房，可供训练和比赛使用。
   穿县城而过的会泽——曲靖公路，20公里笔直的路面，六条车道，车流量不大，可作为长跑、竞走和公路自行车运动员的训练路线。在县城以北20公里处、车辆通行及少的通乡公路（小大线）海拔2400-2800米，是耐力项目训练的理想跑道。日、韩中长跑队曾多次到这里考察，雅典奥运会女子马拉松冠军——野口，训练后对地理环境极为满意。同时经过2118-2800米之间的跑道训练后，均可在县城食宿，县城现有三星级宾馆２座，二星级宾馆１座，可接待580名运动员的食宿。

训练点介绍

县城西北方53公里，是海拔818米的低海拔训练点。这里是以礼河四级电站所在地。运动员可沿金沙江边的公路进行长跑、竞走训练。电站生活区海拔828米，庭院清幽，盛开着热带、亚热带的花卉，凤凰树、木棉树开花的季节，红色的花朵灿烂如火。配有多间装空调的房间，可接纳30人的食宿，也可提供房间作为运动员力量训练之用。
    距县城西南方28.3公里，是海拔3070米的高海拔训练点。这里是会泽县大海乡政府的所在地。乡中学现有一块200米的碳渣跑道田径场。大海乡至县城之间海拔2800米左右的一段公路，路面平整，坡度平缓可供长跑或竞走运动员的训练。运动员若要高住低练，海拔3080米的大海乡政府的所在地，是运动员的最佳居住地。
    会泽县在海拔2000米以上有大中型水库3座，其中毛家村水库和跃进水库是水上项目进行高原训练的理想之地。距县城9公里的毛家村水库，沿国道213线延伸，交通十分方便。该水库是20世纪50年代国家建造的以礼河电厂一级电站，由高80.5米，长465.5米，顶宽8米的堪称亚洲第一土坝拦截而成。水库水面旺水期海拔2210米，水面长26公里，宽度约200—400米之间，水面面积21.5平方公里，平均水深77米，枯水期平均水深也在30米以上，可谓高峡出平湖。2006年元月5日，国家赛艇队来到会泽进行为期9周的冬训，通过实地训练一段时间后，赛艇队外籍主教练伊格尔评价：“毛家村水库是唯一能在冬季进行水上项目训练的高原基地”。水库四周青山环抱，无风时水平如镜，起风是微起涟漪。水库边群山如黛，绿柳成荫，掩映着几许农家村舍，整个环境平和悠然万籁俱静，如诗如画。大坝脚下建有渡假村，可供运动员食宿，也可提供力量训练器材用房。运动员如要回县城住宿，9公里的高等级公路，方便快捷。
    县城以北43公里的跃进水库：距大桥乡政府约1000米，是世界一级保护动物黑颈鹤的自然保护区，旺水期海拔2492米，水面长7公里，宽200—1500米，水面面积8平方公里，平均水深15米，枯水期平均水深8米。
    会泽位于我国大陆低纬度地带，按全国气候带划分标准属南温带季风气候。由于会泽境内地势高差达3300米，立体气候明显。海拔818米训练点属南亚热带气候，海拔3070—3500米训练点属于寒温带气候。县城平均气温12.7℃，按气候学划分标准，冬季从11月6日到次年的3月5日，历时120天，最冷1月份平均气温5.0℃。春秋季从3月6日到11月5 日，历时245天，最热月7月份平均气温18.7℃。会泽无夏季。影响户外训练的日降水量大于等于5毫米的天气年平均为47天，最多7月份也只有10天左右，可以说7月份最少也有20天左右不受降水影响，按照人体舒适度18到24℃的规定，最佳人体运动温度日平均气温在5到16℃，会泽6至8月的部分时间对运动训练略有影响，全年约300余天可以进行户外训练。

自然地理条件

会泽县地热资源丰富，有多处温泉，可供运动员训练后洗浴；不失为一项实用的恢复手段。得天独厚的地理条件，宜人的气候环境，便利的交通网络，是运动员训练的难得之地。会泽山川秀美，风景迷人，有一山分四季、十里不同天的自然气候，还有一年四季游、一日游四季的独特景观。在海拔4017米的乌蒙绝顶牯牛寨和海拔818米的低热河谷小江口；有绿水花草相依、白云牛羊相伴的20万亩连绵起伏的高原草甸大海草山；有曲径通幽、神秘莫测的会泽大地缝；有水草丰茂、鹤舞翩跹的大桥、者海长海子世界一级保护动物黑劲鹤自然保护区，中外地理学者把会泽誉为立体的会泽。

the brief introduction of altitude training base in Huize
    The Five Ridges wind like gentle ripples. And the majestic Wumeng roll by, globules of clay”. When you climb to Guniu Stockade, the peak of Wumeng Mountaim at an altitude of 4017.3 meters, you can enjoy the grand view of the middle part of Yunnan Province. Clouds around the mountains, and the peaks rising one upon another, make you feel yourself staying in the heavens and experience the boundlessness of Wumeng Mountain. This is Huize County in Yunnan Province.
    Huize County lies in the northern part of Diandong Plateau, the highest peak of Wumeng Mountain, where Diandong Plateau and Qianxi Plateau collapse. It got its name because the Jinshajiang River, the Xiaojiang River, the NiulanJiang River and the Yili River meet there. Huize County is 85.4 kilometers across from east to west and 137.5 kilometers from north to south. It covers an area of 5854 square kilometers. The western part of Huize County is higher than the eastern part. It undulates from south to north. The highest part of the county is at an altitude of 4017.3 meters while the lowest part is at 695 meters. Huize County, richly endowed by nature, has three training sites, with 818 meters, 2118 to 2800 and 3070 to 3500 meters as the altitudes respectively. This provides precious training condition for altitude training.
   Huize County, at an altitude of 2118 meters, is suitable for altitude training. The Party Committee and government of Huize County took over 210 mu (14 hectares) land in 2002, aiming to build a sports center. The sports center will include a gymnasium, a natatorium, a syntheses training center and a stadium. So far, a stadium with a seating capacity of 21 thousand people has been put into use. The stadium is facilitated with a 400-meter round plastic track, a physical strength training gymnasium and 18 standard rooms.
   Huize—Qujing Road across the county town can be used as a route for long-distance racing, walking racing and road racing because this 20-kilometer road is straight with six lanes. Moreover, the traffic there is not too heavy. The lanes to the countryside, 20 kilometers off Huize County, are excellent for endurance training, since they are at an altitude of 2400 to 2800 meters and with light traffic. Japanese and Korean long-distance racing teams have inspected here several times. Noguchi Mizuki, the champion of Women Marathon Race of 2004 Athens Olympic Games, regarded highly on the geographic condition here. Meanwhile, training teams can accommodate in the county town after having the training on the lanes at the altitude of between 2118 and 2800 meters. The county town is facilitated with two three-star hotels, and one two-star hotel. The hotels altogether can receive up to 580 people.
Introduction to the training sites
     The lower altitude training site lies 53 kilometers northwest off the county town, where Yihe Four-Stair Power Plant is located. Long-distance racing and walking racing athletes can have the training along the Jinshajiang River. The power plant residential area, at an altitude of 818 meters, is planted with tropical and semitropical flowers, like flam trees and kapok. Rooms equipped with air-conditioning can serve as dining rooms that can hold 30 people or gymnasium for physical strength training.
     is an altitude training place 3070meters above sealevel which is 28.3kilometers far from southwest of the town. Here is the government location of village Dahai. There is also an track and field ground with 2oometers long runway which is made of coal cinder. There is an high level road which is about 2800meters between the village Dahai and the town. The road is very even and small slope which is an ideal training place for long distance running and the long walking. If the athletes wanna have a low-and-high training, the government location of village Dahai is the best place for the athletes to live.
   There are three large-or medium-sized reservoirs in Huize County above the altitude of 2000 meters. Among them, Maojia Village Reservoir and Yuejin Reservoir are excellent altitude training sites for water sports. Maojia Village Reservoir is 9 kilometers away from the county town. The 213 National Highway makes the transportation convenient. This reservoir was formed when Yihe One-Stair Power Plant was built in the 1950s. The clay bay of the reservoir is 80.5 meters high, 465.5 meters long and 8 meters wide on the top. The altitude of the water surface during flood water season is 2210 meters. The water surface covers an area of 21.5 square kilometers, with 26 kilometers long, 200 to 400 meters wide and 77 meters as the average depth. Even during dry season, the water is over 30 meters deep on average. It is what people say “a smooth lake rises in the narrow gorges”. On the January the 5th 2006, China national rowing team came to Huize for 9-week winter training. After the on-the-spot inspection, the foreign coach of the rowing team prized that: “Maojia Village Reservoir is the only altitude training base that can provide water sports training in winter”. The reservoir is surrounded by green hills. Hills, trees and a few village houses around make the whole environment peaceful and picturesque. The resort at the foot of the bay can provide food, accommodation and physical strength training rooms for the athletes. Nine kilometers of first-class high way makes it easy and convenient for the athletes to go back to the county town for accommodation.
    Reservoir, 43 kilometers north off the county town, is one kilometer from the location of Daqiao Town government. It is the natural reserve for black-necked cranes, a first class of global protected wild animal. The altitude of Yuejin Reservoir during flood water season is 2492 meters. The water surface covers an area of 8 square kilometers, with 7 kilometers as the length and 200 to 1500 meters as the width. The average depth of this reservoir is 15 meters during flood water season and 8 meters during dry season.
    County lies in the low latitude zone and is south temperate monsoon climate. Due to the 3300 meters altitude difference, the climate varies dramatically from place to place at different altitudes. The climate of the training site at the altitude of 8118 meters belongs to south semi-tropical climate and that of the site of 3070 to 3500 meters belongs to cold temperate climate. The average temperature of Huize County is 12.7℃. According to climatology theory, winter in Huize is from November the 6^th to March the 5^th, lasting for 120 days. January is the coldest, with 5.0 ℃ as the average temperature. Spring and fall are from March the 6^th to November the 5^th, lasting for 245 days. July is the hottest and the average temperature is 18.7℃. There is no summer in Huize. 47 days per year on average have the daily precipitation that is no less than 5mm. About 10 such days make July a month that rains the most. That is to say, at least 20 days in July are not affected by the rain. According the degree of comfort, the best average temperature for sports is from 5 to 16 ℃. Therefore, only a small proportion of time during June to August affects training and the remaining more than 300 days are suitable for outdoor training activities.

  Natural Geographic Conditions
    Huize County is rich in terrestrial heat. Spas can help the athletes recover from daily training. Together with the picturesque landscape, the comfortable climate and the convenient transport network, the geographic conditions make Huize County an excellent training site. Mountains in Huize County are beautiful and unique. The climate varies from place to place. People can enjoy the different flora and fauna at different parts of a mountain as well as different mountains. In Guniu Stockade, the peak of Wumeng Mountain and the river mouth, there are flowers and grass around the green waters, cows and cattle under the white clouds, 200 thousand mu (13.3 thousand hectares) of grassland, mysterious fissure, bridges and the black-necked crane protection reserve. Therefore, the geographers from home and abroad regard Huize as a three-dimensional county.
